杜子瑩女士服務教育界超過三十年,為中學退休校長。她退休後繼續服務教育界,現時擔任不同教育基金會理事及中學校董。同時,杜女士在數個家長教師團體出任顧問,促進家校合作。

她熱心公益,其貢獻不局限於教育,亦積極參與社會服務。杜女士在多個官方及民間組織擔任職務,特別重視培育青年發展推廣及義工運動。

杜女士熱愛藝術及中國文化,並樂於透過文化藝術創意項目貢獻自己,協助青年及弱勢社群發揮潛能,共同建立更美好的明天。

她在2009年被政府委任為太平紳士。

Ms Tao Chee Ying Theresa is the retired Principal of a secondary school, with more than thirty years of service in the education sector. After retirement, she continues to serve the education community in the capacities of Director of Education Foundation and School Manager. Meanwhile, Ms Tao has played advisory roles in several Parent-Teacher Associations through which she enhances home-school cooperation.

Ms Tao’s contribution does not confine in the education field as she has committed to serving the community in many aspects. She has shouldered different responsibilities in a wide range of official and non-governmental organisations with a special emphasis on fostering youth development and promoting volunteer movement. 

Having developed a keen interest in arts and Chinese culture, it has been Ms Tao's mission to dedicate herself, through cultural, arts and creativity projects, to help the youth and the needy to explore their potential and pursue a brighter future. 

She was appointed as Justice of Peace by the government in 2009.
